DARK Endowment Scholarship
for Cybersecurity
$2,000 Scholarships will be awarded to deserving students who have demonstrated academic preparation, a passion for cybersecurity, and a commitment to contributing to the field.

Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- US Citizens
- Class of 2026 graduating high school seniors
- Accepted into an accredited undergraduate cybersecurity program or a closely related field at a US college or university
- Submit the application along with required documents listed under Application Requirements.

Scholarship Details
Award amount is $1,000 per year for 2 years. Funds will be paid directly to the recipient for educational expenses including tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment or reasonable living expenses while enrolled. The second year disbursement requires proof of continued enrollment, unofficial transcript showing completion of first year, and a brief progress report. A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 scholarships will be awarded.
To receive and maintain the scholarship (year 2), the recipient must be enrolled full-time in an accredited cybersecurity or related field, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0, make satisfactory academic progress, and remain in good standing with the college or university.
The scholarship provider reserves the right to terminate the scholarship if eligibility requirements are not met, false information was provided, failure to provide required documentation, or withdrawal from school/ineligible status.

Documents
These documents must be uploaded via the application link:
- Copy of your High School Transcript (unofficial is acceptable)
- Copy of your Admission letter
- Resume or cybersecurity activities document to include, but not limited to cybersecurity competitions, clubs, camps, certifications, self-directed learning, volunteer work or internships
Your Personal Statements
In the application, you must provide 3 statements addressing:
- Why do you want to study cybersecurity
- A description of your academic background and preparation for college-level cybersecurity
- Evidence of work ethic and dedication to leadership roles
Recommendations:
You must provide the names of 2 adults that will submit letters of recommendation on your behalf. Instruct your recommenders to directly email the letters to Dr. Melissa Dark, melissa.dark@darkenterprisesinc.com
Other Requested Information:
You must provide the name of your school, the name of your school counselor, your email address, home address, phone number, expected graduation date, and name of college or university.
