Purdue Federal Credit Union

Purdue University Employees Credit Union was founded in 1969 by a group of university employees. Put simply, they wanted a place where they, their families and fellow employees could save and borrow money safely, confidentially, and at a fair rate of interest.

Over the years, the financial institution went through several name changes. It finally became Purdue Federal Credit Union in 2010, shortly after acquiring Members United Federal Credit Union. The new name was a true reflection of the membership base, which includes students, faculty, staff and communities where Purdue University and its regional campuses operate.

Headquartered in West Lafayette, Ind., Purdue Federal is a member-owned financial cooperative with 83,000 members worldwide and assets exceeding $1.7 billion. Its mission is to earn the trust of its members and become their financial partner for life. Its staff is driven by superior member service and dedication to the Greater Lafayette, Crown Point and La Porte communities.

National Cryptologic Foundation

The National Cryptologic Foundation (NCF) strives to heighten public awareness of the cryptologic and cyber professions while honoring the people— past, present, and future—whose contributions to our national security protect and make possible our way of life.

Our guiding principles are to:

  • Educate the public and inspire our nation’s K-12 students to explore cryptology, cyber and other STEM fields of study;
  • Stimulate robust dialogue and engagement with the American public on issues of cyber policy, technology, and privacy;
  • Commemorate all “those who serve in silence” in the cryptologic mission with valor and distinction, and whose contributions help enhance and preserve our way of life.

The NCF continues its campaign to build the Cyber Center for Education & Innovation, a public–private partnership between the NCF and National Security Agency.

The foundation was established in 1996 as the National Cryptologic Museum Foundation (NCMF) to support the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM). The foundation has recently modified its name but our support of the museum remains a vital part of our mission, especially as we expand our partnership with the National Security Agency.
