2025 Teacher Professional Development in Cybersecurity

Fall Registration is Open - Foundations of Cybersecurity

Foundations of Cybersecurity was designed for teachers. It will help you develop a holistic view of the field and deepen your understanding of cybersecurity topics.

This self-paced, asynchronous course is based on the ACM CSEC Curriculum Guidelines and covers:
· Trustworthy Cyberspace
· Secure System Principles and Tools
· Vulnerabilities, Exploits, and Attacks
· Defending Data in the Digital Age
· Cybersecurity in Context

· Course Starts: September 1, 2025
· Course Ends: December 15, 2025 (all work must be turned in by midnight Dec 14)
· Cost: $350 upfront and $150 refunded after successful completion
Graduate Credit:
3 credits available through University of Arkansas Little Rock or Dakota State University if you complete the course and enroll in a program at either institution.
Professional Development Credit:
45 hours will be awarded upon completion

Revive Atlantis -- A Cybersecurity Game

Revive Atlantis, a cybersecurity game, is available on the Roblox platform. The game aims to inspire interest in cybersecurity and make the subject accessible and appealing to students.
During June and July, we met with teachers and students at GenCyber camps and PD events to introduce the game and instructional materials.
