Early College Credit in Cybersecurity (E3C)

The U.S. has a cybersecurity talent shortage. I am sure you already know this. We have been investigating strategies to help overcome this talent shortage by:

-preparing more educators to teach cybersecurity (the NCTA program)
-offering no charge high school curriculum (the Teach Cyber curriculum)
-developing a bank of assessment items for educators to use (the ARC project)

Our newest effort is E3C, Early College Cybersecurity Credit. We are looking at the motivators for and challenges to establishing early college credit programs and finding exemplars of ECC in Cybersecurity to disseminate.

We are happy to share the following exemplars here: https://teachcyber.org/e3c/
DARK Enterprises in collaboration with the NCTA consortium recently held a workshop that brought together thought leaders to further dual credit and concurrent enrollment in cybersecurity. The workshop was such a success that plans are in the works for another workshop in the future.
